回顾了应用语言学发展的历程,阐述了应用语言的理论、研究范围、研究方法及发展趋势。认为应用语言学是一个具有开拓创新的研究领域。其研究目的在于促使外语教师了解应用语言学理论以及与其它学科的关系, 积极参与教学改革,提高外语教学水平
Abstract：The history of applied linguistic development is discussed, with emphasis in the theory, scope, research method and future trend of applied linguistics. It points out that applied lingustics is probably a research area with innovation. The aim is to make foreign laguage teachers understand applied linguistics theory, its relationship between other disciples, actively take part in teaching reform and improve English teaching strategies.
