综述了数字电视 (Digital Television简写 DTV)的发展历史和 DTV的发展概况，对未来世界各国的高清晰度电视（ High Definition Television简写 HDTV）的发展规划做了详细的阐述。并对我国发展 HDTV的战略、机遇和挑战进行了分析。
Abstract：This paper overviews the broad history of DTV(Digital Television), and gives a detailed introduction to the possible future development of HDTV(High Definition Television)broadcasting and digital programs for SDTV(Standard Definition Television). The strategy ,opportunity and challenge of our country in developing HDTV are analyzed in the last part of the paper.
